Wills and Kate: Back On For Good?

Not only was it thrilling to get the news that Prince William and Kate Middleton are dating again {full story} -- far sooner, even, than the 2009 reunion I had predicted -- it was especially gratifying to learn it from a reader's comment before I had even seen it elsewhere on the Interwebs! As always, gentle readers, I vastly appreciate your engagement and enthusiasm.

And just prior to the news breaking, another -- also much appreciated -- reader requested a birthday reading for Wills. So, I thought I'd take a look at his solar return chart and see what the year ahead holds for him ... and how it bodes for the tentatively on-again couple.

The first thing that jumps out about William's solar return is that SR (solar return) Pluto is right on the natal Ascendant, about to retrograde back over it. This augurs a year of profound transformation for Wills, of his image and his identity. With Pluto in Sag, his perspective may be changed by traveling or being exposed to many different cultures. This year could see him starting to assume a meaningful role on the world stage, or at least trying to seek meaning in his role as an (incidental) international figure.

The SR chart has Capricorn rising, bringing the intercepted part of Wills' natal first house to the Ascendant. This is another sign that this year Wills will come into his own, assuming responsibility, authority, and gravitas as part of his persona. (Capricorn is also currently rising in his progressed chart, though this has been the case for many years.) Perhaps this desire to start taking himself, and being taken, more seriously, is part of his decision to return to Kate. Even for a hottie prince, perhaps the lure of playing the field was not so powerful as having a genuine, solid connection with a true partner (especially given that 7th-house influence in Wills' natal chart).

It may be that starting in 2008, these two are ready to talk marriage, as transiting Pluto opposes Wills' 7th-house Sun (exact in late January, early June, and late November). While it may not be the most traditionally romantic planet, for a royal wedding that will literally change the course of history, Pluto seems an appropriately powerful signifier.

Or the time could be right for a wedding in 2009 when Pluto conjuncts Wills' natal Juno (exact in February, early May, and around Christmas), the asteroid associated with marriage, which is highlighted in the partnership-oriented Prince's 1st house. Also in 2009, Wills' progressed Venus will cross his natal 7th house-cusp, another suggestion that he could be ready to start married life.

Our boy will be having his first Saturn return from late 2010 to fall 2011, at which time we may really see him step up and assume a role of authority; with Saturn in Libra, plus his 7th-house Sun and Moon, he may well feel most comfortable doing so with a partner by his side to help stabilize and ground him.

As I've said before, despite harboring my own Mrs. Windsor/Princess Kitty fantasies, I think Kate seems like a strong woman and excellent princess material, and I could not be more excited for these two to get back together. I hope that losing her really did give Wills a reality check and that he is ready to get serious about making the emotional connection that his sensitive but guarded Cancer heart needs but fears. Good luck, you two!

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden: Bad Influences on Each Other?

A reader recently requested a report on the rumor that Nicole Richie is pregnant -- with the very apropos follow-up question "If she is, is she taking care of herself?" And now comes word that in addition to an alleged bump, Nicole has been sporting major bling, sparking talk that she is engaged to cheesy Good Charlotte "rocker" Joel Madden. {Source} All this, while the threat of a jail sentence hangs over her head. Clearly, there's a lot going on with Nicole right now! There's so much to cover, this may well end up being Part I in a series of posts on the twiggy troublemaker.

For now, let's start with a look at her relationship with Joel. Based on their horoscopes, it seems to me that they may well be compatible as a couple, in that there is chemistry and attraction between them ... but whether the relationship is a healthy influence on Nicole is another question entirely.

First, her Venus in Scorpio trines his Mars in Pisces -- a good aspect for loving sexual relationships, one that suggests an easy-flowing romantic dynamic between them. See Nicole Richie's birth chart (Astrotheme, no birth time) ~ See Joel Madden's birth chart (Vega Attractions, no birth time)

Yet Nicole's Venus in Scorpio and Mars in Leo also form a passionate -- but volatile --T-square with his Venus in Aquarius. This again augurs good sexual chemistry ... but it may also hint that the relationship with Joel is stirring up the tendency toward relationship drama described by Nicole's Venus in Scorpio– Mars in Leo square.

Venus in Scorpio is extremely possessive and controlling, while Venus in Aquarius tends to be a little more distant and arm's-length. There have been many online reports about Joel getting annoyed with Nicole's constant calling and clinginess, and here we may well see the Scorpio/Aquarius Venus dynamic in action. Joel pulling away from her clinginess and possessiveness may in turn activate Nicole's Mars in Leo, which goes ballistic with a dramatic outburst designed to command attention.

Joel's Chiron in Taurus opposite Nicole's Venus, making a grand cross with Mars, is also troubling, as it suggests the relationship could be hurtful to her in some way, possibly stirring up insecurities about her body (Chiron in Taurus) or her femininity.

I'm a little nervous, too, about the grand trine between the Sun in Pisces, retrograde Jupiter in Cancer, and Uranus in Scorpio in Joel's chart, suggesting that while he is a creative being with a rebellious streak (albeit a cheesy one), he has a tendency to get out of control and possibly give in to self-destructive Piscean tendencies. For someone with Nicole's history of self-destructive behavior (drugs, eating issues), this might not be such a good influence.

Plus, her Sun sextiles his Jupiter, while her Uranus trines his Jupiter (much more closely than his natal trine), suggesting that she might egg on his excessive ways. These two malleable mutable signs may well vibe off each other, but a lot of emotional energy is stirred up when they're together, and I'm not sure it has anywhere to go but ping-pong back and forth between them, getting caught up in all those squares and oppositions.

Since this post has already become quite lengthy, we will indeed have to table the discussion of Nicole's possible pregnancy and prison sentence for a future installment of the Richie saga. Stay tuned!

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel: Can Consecutive Signs Work?

As long promised, I have examined the horoscopes of new couple Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel to determine their compatibility. And I have to say I was rather surprised at the result.

Now, as longtime readers well know, I am (a) averse to the idea of consecutive Sun signs pairing up; and (b) deeply invested in the prospect of J.T. reuniting with his one true love, Britney Spears. So I was all set to dismiss this couple out of hand, proclaiming her an oversensitive Pisces who would be emotionally unsatisfied by an unfeeling Aquarian like Justin. But, most vexingly, it turns out they actually have more going for them than I expected.

See, for a Pisces, Jessica is really not all that touchy-feely emotional. She has Mercury conjunct Justin's Aquarius Sun and her Venus in Aquarius as well; Mars, Saturn, and Pluto are in airy Libra. See Jessica Biel's birth chart (Astrotheme, no birth time) And it is extremely likely that Jessica has a Gemini Moon -- unless she was born very close to midnight, in which case her Moon would be at 0° Cancer. On the off chance that her Moon is in watery Cancer, Jessica would be a lot less compatible with Justin, being a much more emotional, sensitive being. But assuming that she does have a Gemini Moon, Jessica actually has a predominance of six planets in air signs, which makes her much more simpatico than the average Pisces with airy Aquarian Justin.

Conversely, Justin has his Mercury in Pisces, Jessica's Sun sign. See Justin Timberlake's birth chart (Astrotheme) The fact that they have their Mercurys in each other's Sun signs is an indicator that they understand each other and have good communication. Curses!!!

But it seems to me -- and again, I am deeply biased -- that while all their air-sign planets may vibe harmoniously, there is not that much in the way of passionate chemistry between them. Her Neptune is within two degrees of his Moon-Neptune, so she does fit his fantasy image of a woman, but that would be true of many women born roughly within the same year of him (Britney's Neptune's conjunction to Justin's Moon-Neptune, for instance, is almost exact).

There may be some romantic vibes thanks to her Mars in Libra loosely conjunct his Pluto, and her Pluto in Libra trine his Mars; however, Saturn smack between her Mars and Pluto would tend to damp down those flames of passion a bit.

Other than that, there are not many strong aspects to speak of between their two charts. They may get along just fine and have fun together, with all that breezy, social air-sign energy ... but nothing really jumps out to indicate any real binding connection, or can't-live-without-you ardor. In fact, their Suns are semisextile to each other, which speaks to the kind of tomato-tomahto just-slightly-out-of-tune-with-each-other dynamic I caution against when it comes to consecutive signs.

True, it is possible that her Gemini Moon opposes his Sag Moon, which would bring romantic sparks. But even a Moon opposition between those two mutable, commitment-phobic signs would not necessarily augur a lasting, long-term relationship. I can't help feeling that Justin and Jess are just having fun for right now, and perhaps looking to keep things light and noncommittal. By the way, did I mention that I believe Justin is going to end up with Britney?

Why Jessica Simpson Shouldn't Take John Mayer Back Again

Way back in March 2006, I speculated extensively on whom, astrologically speaking, then-newly-single Jessica Simpson should get into a relationship with, and came up with a pretty specific zone of the zodiac for her to use as her dating pool:

I like the idea of her dating someone with his Sun betweeen 16-23° Libra, which would square her Sun (challenging her, which I think Jess needs right now) but also trine her Moon/Venus, creating an easy emotional bond. {Full story}

Well, as we all now know, she took up with sensitive Libra singer-songwriter John Mayer, whose Sun is at -- I tell you, I don't make this stuff up, people -- 22° or 23° Libra, depending on his exact birth time. See John Mayer's birth chart (Astrotheme, no birth time) But their on-off relationship has been characterized by stereotypical Libran oscillation; it seems John is afflicted with the ambivalence about commitment that often befalls natives of this Sun sign, and keeps breaking up and making up with Jess. So, although my original prediction (or rather, recommendation) came to pass, it didn't exactly work out happily.

The irony is that a large part of my analysis of who Jess should date was predicated on the guess that Jess--whose birth time I did not then know -- had a Gemini Moon, which would vibe with an airy Libra. Instead, it turns out -- thanks to data graciously provided by the AstroTwins, to whom I am deeply indepted and most grateful for the scoop -- that Jessica's Moon is in watery Cancer. (Seriously, seeing her in the kitchen, I never would have guessed that. You can't win 'em all, people.) See Jessica Simpson's birth chart (Exclusive to CelebAstroBlogy.com)

With her Sun, Moon and Mercury in Cancer, and Scorpio, also a water sign, on the Ascendant (conjunct her ex-husband Nick Lachey's Scorpio Sun, by the by), Jessica is very emotionally driven. Like John, she has a Sun-Mercury conjunction and therefore a tendency to be all up in her own head -- but where his Libra conjunction overthinks, her Cancer conjunction gets oversensitive. When they argue, she finds him cold and unemotional while he finds her hysterical.

Jessica's Venus in Gemini does vibe romantically with John's Sagittarius Moon, but ultimately the freewheeling wanderer spirit of that Sag Moon is unsatisfying and unavailable for her security-oriented Cancer Sun-Moon. As a homebody Cancer, Jessica may have grown tired of following her rocker beau on tour and longed to settle down again.

Further, John's Venus at 29° Virgo -- though it forms an out-of-sign conjunction with her Mars in Libra that could stir up passionate sparks -- has a sort of neurotic quality, a tendency to nitpick and criticize his partners (one wonders why Jessica changed her hair color and dress style while she was with him).

And while the square between their Suns may have enabled the couple to challenge each other, as I anticipated in my original post on Jess' hypothetical Libra hookup, the challenge was too great. With the Mercury square as well as the Sun square, their perspectives are at odds. These two always seemed like an awkward fit, and while they may have repeatedly broken up and made up, ultimately their horoscopes do not show the kind of synastry that would suggest a lasting long-term union.

So, what sign -- or which star -- do you think Jess should date next? I'd love to hear your comments!

Marilyn Manson and Evan Rachel Wood: Um, Why?

What is up with the creepy relationship between Marilyn Manson and 19-year-old starlet Evan Rachel Wood? It's not just the age difference that's bizarro, but the disturbing facts that he is (a) coming off a deep depression, (b) coming out of a marriage, and (c) she is starting to develop a freakish resemblance to his ex-wife, Dita von Teese. I'd like to think that this analysis of the liplinered lovebirds' horoscopes would give Marilyn, with his interest in the occult, food for thought. (Foreword: In astrologically analyzing their relationship, I am indebted both to Tabitha D., for kindly providing record of Evan's birth time, and to the anonymous commenter who suggested the topic. It takes an Interweb, people.)

Right off the bat, Marilyn obviously has a thing for Virgo women (ex-fiancee Rose McGowan was born September 5, 1973; he once dated Fiona Apple, born September 12, 1977). Earth signs Capricorn (Marilyn's Sun sign) and Virgo are certainly compatible, and the near-exact trine aspect between Marilyn's and Evan's Suns enhances their earthy bond. There is definitely an ease between them. But the solar connection hardly suffices to explain their self-proclaimed "soulmate" connection. So what does Marilyn see in Evan, and (perhaps the greater mystery) vice versa?

Marilyn's Chiron is at 29 Pisces, the final degree of the zodiac, trine Neptune and opposite Pluto--which perhaps explains his fetishization of pain, suffering and self-mutilation. See Marilyn Manson 's chart (Astrotheme) Evan's Chiron, at 28 Gemini, squares Manson's, stimulating this tendency toward self-wounding. See Evan Rachel Wood's chart (Exclusive to CelebAstroBlogy) Marilyn has called Evan "my double, my twin" {Source}, and this aspect suggests that she holds up a mirror to the darkness within him. With Gemini on her 7th house cusp, this idea of being a "twin" to her partner must be very appealing to Evan.

ERW's horoscope definitely appears to be that of someone who is open to being molded. With her Sun, Moon, and all four angles in mutable signs, she is receptive and tends to take her cues from others rather than initiating her own course of action. Evan is a Full Moon baby with an almost exact Sun-Moon opposition that, again almost exactly, forms a T-square with Saturn in Sagittarius in the 1st house of identity and appearance. Patriarchal Saturn certainly describes a father figure/authority figure defining not only her outward appearance (1st house) but her core identity (Sun/Moon).

Of all her mutable planets, Evan's Pisces Moon in particular predisposes her to codependency and a tendency to soak up others' emotions like a sponge. Marilyn has Venus in Pisces; plus, his Leo Moon is in the 12th house, natural home of Pisces, also tends him toward a codependent emotional situation, but there is an element of Leo narcissism in his wallowing, as distinct from Evan's self-sacrificing emotional instincts.

Meanwhile, ERW's Mercury at 0 Libra forms an out-of-sign opposition to Manson's Chiron, suggesting that by becoming his partner (Libra) she has helped him become aware (opposition) of, and able to articulate (Mercury), his pain (Chiron). Perhaps for most couples this would not be a plus, but I'm guessing that "misery loves company" is a recurring romantic motif for these two.

Further, Evan's Mercury in Libra falls on Marilyn's Jupiter-Uranus conjunction, again making her a sort of mouthpiece or outlet of expression -- in this case, for his wild, envelope-pushing unconventional behavior and the sense of outrageousness that comes with the Jupiter-Uranus connection.

Evan's Pluto at 7 Scorpio is on Manson's Mars at 3 Scorpio, fostering a strong sexual chemistry characterized by an intense power dynamic. There is a sense that he is empowered by her, drawing on her energy as fuel. Marilyn's Saturn in Aries forms an almost exact inconjunct to Evan Rachel's Venus in Virgo, which suggests that he expects her to conform to certain standards in the relationship, even adjusting the way she relates to a partner to live up to his self-centered expectations. (It's hard to miss the way ERW has morphed into a wannabe of Dita von Teese, Marilyn's ex.) Another inconjunct aspect is found between Evan's Mercury in Libra and Marilyn's Venus in Pisces, suggesting she needs to adjust the way she expresses herself to fit his image of what a relationship should be.

With her Sun, Moon, Venus, Mars, and Saturn in mutable signs, as well as her "I don't know, what do you want to do?" Mercury in Libra, Evan Rachel is definitely the kind of person who becomes enmeshed with her partner, caring for him perhaps to the point of losing sight of her own needs. Her Pisces Moon and Virgo Venus may get validation from being seen as savior, helpmeet and soulmate -- but what about nurturing, and expressing, herself?

Meanwhile, Manson's ex Dita is much more self-directed and definitely her own woman. Her Sun-Pluto conjunction in Libra describes not only her identification with erotic beauty but her need to call the shots in relationships. See Dita von Teese's chart (Astrotheme, no birth time) Her Venus in Leo reinforces the idea that she is passionate, commanding, and knows what she wants in relationships. And the Gemini Moon allows Dita to verbalize -- and move on from -- her emotions, rather than wallowing in them in the way her ex has made a career out of. While her Venus may have vibed with Manson's Leo Moon, ultimately Dita's strong personality may have been too much for him. For better or worse, a woman (or rather, a girl-not-yet-a-woman) whom he can mold into a specific image was ultimately more desirable to Marilyn than a mature woman who has crafted her own desirable persona.

Prince William and Kate Middleton: Really Over for Good?

A reader recently requested an astrological analysis of the breakup of Prince William and Kate Middleton, and I am happy to oblige -- although I am not at all happy about the split itself. Failing the, shall we say, best-case scenario of my own wedding to Wills (Your Rebounding Highness, if you're reading this, call me!), I always thought Kate would be an ideal choice of princess -- she seems so spunky and self-possessed. And indeed, their astrological charts show the couple to be extremely simpatico. Frankly, it's kinda mystifying what went wrong.

Opposite signs like Cancer (William) and Capricorn (Kate) are excellent love matches, right off the bat, even though their Suns are out of orb of an opposition. The couple's core connection is reinforced by the fact that Kate's Moon is in Cancer (though, due to her birth time being unknown, we can't say whether it actually conjuncts Wills' Sun-Moon conjunction in early Cancer. See Prince William's birth chart (Astrotheme) ~ See Kate Middleton's birth chart (Astrotheme, no birth time)

Born six months apart, Wills and Kate also have all their outer planets within orb of conjunction, and Mars in Libra conjunct within one degree. His Mercury in Gemini trine hers in Aquarius fosters easy communication as well as the emotional understanding that comes with their Moon connection.

Wills' Venus in Taurus isn't the greatest fit with Kate's in Aquarius, but does trine her Capricorn Sun -- while her Venus trines their shared Mars, making for quite nice romantic and sexual chemistry. All in all, these two seem to share a lot of common ground and be very much in synch -- emotionally, sexually, mentally, and in terms of what they want in life and how they go after it.

So what was the problem here? Honestly, the issue may lie more with William himself than with the relationship.

Prince William has a tight Venus-Chiron conjunction in Pisces, which opens him up to being very vulnerable, emotionally giving and easily hurt in relationships. In his progressed chart, the Moon, ruler of his self-protective Cancer Sun, has recently been passing over the natal Venus-Chiron conjunction. The Moon represents the mother as well as the emotions, and I am reminded of the tabloid report that Queen Elizabeth II advised Wills to dump Kate for fear of creating "another Diana." The upcoming 10th anniversary of his mother's death may be opening up old wounds (Moon/Chiron) and bringing up a terror of getting close to someone and getting hurt (Venus/Chiron). Fearing the possibility of emotional pain as well as, perhaps, of causing pain to Kate, Wills may have felt the need to lash out in a preemptive strike. Progressed Venus is also semisextile its natal position, fostering a sense of chafing within the relationship.

Still, I can't help but wonder if this is really the end for the couple. William is also said to feel he is too young to settle down, and it may be that he just needs time to see what a good fit Kate is for him. In the summer and fall of 2009, William's progressed Moon will conjunct his natal Cancer Sun and then its own natal position (the progressed lunar return). Around this time he will be assessing his emotional needs and his core needs as a person, especially related to relationships (the Sun-Moon in the 7th house). As William comes to figure out who he is, I would not be surprised to see Kate come back into his life.

Justin Timberlake: Out of the Frying Pan Face, Into the Fire Sign

Yes, dear readers, of course I was overjoyed to learn that Justin Timberlake had finally, once and for all, dumped Cameron Diaz. But I was frustrated and dismayed that he appears to have already moved on to a certain overrated, bee-stung Sagittarius vixen named Scarlett Johansson. A glimpse at their charts reassured me that this rebound fling is a mere detour on J.T.'s path to eternal happiness with his one true love, Britney Spears.

Granted, Scarlett does share her fiery Sun sign with our Britney. But her Sagittarius Sun is nowhere near a conjunction with Justin's Sag Moon. And Scarlett's possessive Scorpio Moon is the last thing Justin needs after clingy Cameron. His detached Aquarian nature will recoil from any Scorp-Moon machinations Scarlett may try to pull. With Scarlett's out-of-sign Sun-Moon conjunction hovering on Justin's Uranus, he will be ready to break free at the slightest hint of her trying to control him. ~ See Justin Timberlake's birth chart (Astrotheme) ~ See Scarlett Johansson's birth chart (Vega Attractions)

I'll allow that the communication between these two is good given her Sun's square to his Mercury. With her Mercury on his nebulous Moon-Neptune and his Mercury on her mystiquey Pisces Ascendant, they have the sense of sharing a deep psychic connection ... even if that perception may be illusory.

But frankly, for two sex symbols, there don't seem to be too many sparks flying between them. There may be a cerebral connection with those Mercury aspects, but as far as sexual tension, her Mars in detached Aquarius' loose conjunction to his Sun is about it. Not very passionate, this pair.

So rest assured, gentle readers, I don't foresee this coupling lasting long. There is still plenty of time for Justin to fulfill his destiny and reunite with Britney in 2008!

Cameron Diaz Is a Masochist

Obviously, Cameron Diaz WANTS to be miserable. No joke.

ANOTHER Aquarius?!?! WHAT is she thinking?!?!

Frying Pan Face just keeps picking men who won't meet her needs. Or maybe it's just that she's desperate to deny her own needs, what with how she keeps insisting she's a commitment-phobe and doesn't want to get married and all. Honey, nice try, but nobody with a Taurus Moon and Venus in Cancer is a commitment-phobe. ~ See Cameron Diaz's birth chart (Astrotheme)

More to come on this tragic tale (including the stellar scoop on Justin and Scarlett). I'm still crazy busy with work (thanks for your patience, gentle readers), but I just had to put that out there.

Cammie, whenever you get tired of living in a world of hurt, find a nice Capricorn man (who isn't a man-whore like Jared Leto) and you can stop fronting like you don't want to settle down!

Jen and Vince's Amicable Aquarius-Aries Breakup

Was it astrologically inevitable that Break-Up stars Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn would break up in real life? Back in February, I predicted that Jen and Vince were just having fun but would not make it for the long haul. {Full story} Then, in March, I noted the strong (temporary) resonance between Jen's progressed chart and Vince's natal chart, with her progressed Sun in early Aries just conjuncting his natal Sun. {Full story} But a connection to the progressed chart can signify that a partner is Mr. Right Now rather than Mr. Right, and as Jen's progressed Sun has drifted out of orb of aspect to Vince's Sun, it would seem the couple has drifted apart.

The split comes as transiting Saturn in Leo is opposing Jen's natal Aquarius Sun, forcing her to take stock of who she is—and possibly bringing her to the realization that she doesn't have much long-term common ground with Vince. See Jennifer Aniston's birth chart (Astrotheme)

Transiting Saturn is also forming a grand trine with Jen's natal Moon and Saturn in fire signs, making it relatively easy for her to make a clean break emotionally. This configuration may also herald a creative renaissance for Jen, especially if she really pushes herself to let a new facet of her personality shine through in her acting.

Meanwhile, Vince has transiting Mercury, Mars and Jupiterpassing over his Neptune, signifying that he may be in escapist mode right now, ready to live the jet-set life and party to avoid reality. Jupiter moves into a trine with Vince's Sun at year's end, opening up new personal frontiers for him. See Vince Vaughn's birth chart (Astrotheme)

This couple does not seem too traumatized to be going their separate ways. It's not like the aspects between their horoscopes suggest a turbulent, melodramatic romance; as I originally noted back in February, their relationship seemed more like a fun lark that was destined to end. Somehow I doubt either will take long to move on.

Any thoughts on who Jen and/or Vince should date next? Post a comment and I'll check out the birth charts for any intriguing possibilities!

Lance to Reichen: Ciao, Controlling Capricorn!

As an astrologer, it is both unprofessional and unbecoming of me to crow "Nyah-nyah! Told you so!" when predictable bad news befalls a celebrity. But when the (semi-) celeb in question is my old nemesis Reichen Lehmkuhl, who flatly refused my offer of astrological services even as I warned him about challenging times ahead, only to get dumped by boyfriend Lance Bass, well, all I can say is... Nyah-nyah! Told you so!

As longtime readers will recall, Reichen angrily rebutted my reading of his birth chart, in which I pronounced him a control freak who was out to dominate Lance and possibly use him for publicity. And yet the reported reasons for the breakup sound an awful lot like the controlling Capricorn I described:

"Page Six first reported the troubles Bass and Lehmkuhl were having due to the former Marine's insistence on Bass dropping his straight friends and not having a full-time job. Bass' friends also think Lehmkuhl maneuvered the former *NSYNC-er into coming out at the same time as his book debut, Here's What We'll Say." {Source}

News of the breakup comes as Mars and Jupiter are inconjunct Reichen's natal Saturn (ruler of his Capricorn Sun), nudging him to adjust his military-discipline M.O. and loosen up some of his rigid, tightly structured ways. See Reichen Lehmkuhl's birth chart ~ Exclusive to CelebAstroBlogy.com; no birth time

Meanwhile, Mars and Jupiter are trine Lance's natal Jupiter in passionate Leo. This could really be a time for him to blossom, open up and express himself. Maybe his Goat ex's goading was just what Lance needed to overcome his fears and start enjoying his life as an out and proud gay man. Evidently he already has a new boy-toy lined up. Go, Lance—spread your wings and leave that Type A ass behind!

Pam Anderson and Kid Rock: Opposites Don't Always Attract

After only a few months, the raunchily-ever-after union of Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock has already fallen by the wayside. Both parties just filed for divorce, although considering they had three weddings, they may still require one more set of paperwork to make it official.

Wild though this pair may have seemed, there was a sense in which they seemed to make, well, sense. Astrologically speaking, as an opposite-sign couple (Pam's a nurturing, domestic Cancer; Kid's a father-figure Capricorn), they certainly had a good shot at making things work. ~ See Pamela Anderson's birth chart (Astrotheme) ~ See Kid Rock's birth chart (Astrotheme, no birth time) But as anyone who knows a bit about astrology can tell you, the Sun signs never tell the whole story when it comes to compatibility.

Back in July, when Pam and Kid announced their engagement, I expressed guarded hopes for the couple but also some misgivings:

On the one hand, Pam and Kid are actually a good match as far as their Sun signs are concerned. A Cancer woman and Capricorn man can make for a cozy white-picket-fence type of traditional family unit. And one thing these two definitely have in common, skanky as they both may be, is love for their sons. They do seem to make a nice extended family together with their boys. Also, Kid's Sun in Capricorn is square Pam's Moon in Aries, a nice aspect for romantic tension between a man and woman.

But beyond that, I'm not so sure that they really have a strong bond. Their Suns are not in aspect to each other, and Pam's Cancer Sun inconjuncts Kid's Venus in Sagittarius, an awkward angle as far as their ability to meet each other's relationship needs. She craves security while he might well be happy living on the road with a string of groupies as his companions. {Full story}

The dates of separation listed on the divorce proceedings, interestingly, differ—Pam says Nov. 21; Kid, Nov. 26 {Source}. The later date seems to resonate more, with Jupiter in Sagittarius having just returned to its exact position in Kid's natal chart, that groupie-loving Venus in Sag likewise making its return, and Mars in Scorpio about to do so. Kid is feeling a strong urge for freedom, and for autonomy over his own actions. With so much Sagittarius energy in effect right now, expect him to rebound by sowing his wild oats in a big way.

Meanwhile, Pamela has transiting Saturn on her 4th-house Venus, an aspect that is testing her domestic and family relationships and strengthening her need for a strong, secure foundation upon which to build her life with her kids. Under a Saturn-Venus conjunction, people have a tendency to cut out relationships that are not working (though those that are already solid can emerge from this testing time that much stronger). The sadness of experiencing a miscarriage, as was confirmed last month, may have driven Pam to take stock of her emotional and family needs. With his freewheeling Sagittarius stellium, Kid Rock simply might not have provided the reliable household presence that Pam sought for herself and her sons.

As Saturn turns retrograde in early December, Pam will have ample time over the next five-odd months to reevaluate these emotional needs and work on reestablishing a sense of security. Here's hoping Pam figures out how to get her groove back, and finds herself some much-deserved, long-deferred happiness on her own and/or with a new love.

Travis and Shanna: Meet the Barkers' Astrological Charts

To fill a void in the Interwebs, I have cast astrological charts for estranged couple Travis Barker of Blink-182 and Shanna Moakler of, uh, whatever she can do to get attention. A full analysis of their relationship will be forthcoming (although I never watched their show), but I am about to pass out. Without further ado, here are the Meet the Barkers exes' natal charts.

Jude and Sienna: Over for Good This Time?

I know, I know: Reporting on Jude Law and Sienna Miller's relationship is kind of like keeping tabs on Oprah's weight or the Israel-Palestine conflict. You just know another oscillation is coming up, so at a certain point it's like, why even graph the ups and downs? Their most recent breakup announcement supposedly has the couple calling it quits for good {Source}, but there is a hint of a can't-stay-away dynamic in the couple's horoscopes that is intriguing despite the tedium of their rote breakups and makeups. What draws them together? Well, ultimately they're both narcissistic people who gratify each other's egos.

The first thing that jumps out about this couple is that, despite the decade-ish age diff, their birthdays are a day apart, meaning their Suns are closely conjunct in Capricorn. See Sienna Miller's birth chart (Astrotheme, no birth time) ~ See Jude Law's birth chart (Astrotheme) The Sun rules the ego center and the core personality, and this conjunction suggests that they are drawn to each other because in many fundamental ways they are alike. Right away it appears the attraction is based on a sort of ego reflection wherein they reinforce each other's (and their own) fundamental traits and tendencies.

Of course, there's nothing bad about being simpatico in this way. It just strikes me that Jude and Sienna each seem rather emotionally ... oh, what's the word? ... shallow. In their natal charts, apart from Jude's Mars and Sienna's Jupiter in Scorpio, there are no planets in water signs, the element that brings feeling, compassion and nurturing to an individual's identity. Their collective emphasis of planets in career-driven, ambitious Capricorn, plus the freewheeling bachelor sign Sagittarius and let's-gloss-that-over Libra, suggests an outward, goal-oriented focus rather than any sort of deep inner reflection. Rather than look within themselves, these two can gaze dreamily at each other, and get validation that they are perfect exactly as they are.

But despite this core similarity, it's hardly smooth sailing for this couple. Sienna's Pluto on Jude's Moon in Libra augurs a tempestuous, passionate emotional rollercoaster of a relationship where power and control are constantly oscillating within the relationship; five degrees away, Sienna's Saturn on Jude's Uranus suggests that her attempts to control or confine him within the partnership only stir up his urge to break free and flee the restrictions of commitment. There is a chafing dynamic going on here. Jude's natal Venus-Saturn opposition in Sagittarius-Gemini signals that he is extremely wary of any attempt by a woman he's with to limit his freedom. With Pluto on Jude's Moon and Saturn on his Uranus, Sienna may come off as clingy, controlling and posessive. Sienna's Mars on Jude's Pluto in Libra may generate great sexual sparks but also intense potential for anger, cruelty and recrimination ... perhaps attempts to "even the score" with revenge in a twisted use of the Libra archetype.

With transiting Venus in Sagittarius about to pass over Jude's natal Venus-Neptune conjunction, further clouding his already unrealistic ideas about relationships and stirring up his romantic fantasies, don't be surprised if Jude and Sienna rebound back into each other's arms within the next couple of weeks ... or at least, are busted by the paparazzi for having some hot breakup sex before they go their separate ways once and for all.

TomKat's Scorpio Marriage: Manipulation Much?

And so it is done. Following a reported recitation of Scientology vows as misgoynistic as they are random, TomKat is one.

Astrologically speaking, however, I am still waiting for the other (flat) shoe to drop. A bajillion inane reports about the "fairytale" wedding of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes in Bracciano, Italy, have so far failed to note or even estimate the time of the ceremony. (Please, gentle readers, email me if you come across an exception.) I will keep looking; in the meantime, I have deduced that the marriage must have been made official sometime after 4:20 PM, judging from a report that has Tom helicoptering in to the ceremony at 4 PM {Source} and others reporting it was 20 minutes long (ugh, I looked through so many I can't find one to source right now). That said, my hunch is that the ceremony that un-love-childed Suri was most likely later in the day, considering repeated references to evening and nightfall in wedding reports like this one.

Can this limited narrowing-down tell us anything about the wedding chart? Well, it settles one issue I raised when TomKat originally set a wedding date: The timeframe places the Moon in Scorpio along with a whopping four other planets, including the Sun, which describes the core character of the marriage. Oh, noooo, there are no dynamics of control, manipulation, deception, contractual obligation or glomming onto someone else's financial status involved here.

One interesting point of note is that the marriage was "officialized" (read: "actually happened") in L.A. prior to the couple's Italian trip. {Source} So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the good people at TMZ come through with the documents legalizing the union, since this down-low deal might well shed high-wattage light on this mysterious Scorpionic marriage. Stay tuned, and again, please pass along any info on the ceremony (or City Hall visit) you may come across.

Britney Divorces Kevin! The World Makes Sense Again!

How long I have dreamed of this day. I can scarcely believe this joyous event has come to pass, much less astrologically analyze it with any objectivity. My beloved, bodacious angel, Britney Spears, has filed for divorce from the no-talent, gold-digging, low-capris-wearing, indiscriminately inseminating piece of white trash she inexplicably chose to call a husband, Kevin Federline. {Source} Jaia Ganesha!!!

Britney, baby, I just know this is a new day for you. Sure, you were in a bad relationship, you let yourself go, but now that you've kicked K-Fed to the curb, you're already looking fiercer than we've seen you in eons. {Source ~ Source}(Okay, the picture at right is old, but isn't it an inspirational reminder of the glory days?)

In Britney's horoscope, change has been brewing for some time. See Britney Spears' birth chart (Astrotheme) Back in May, I wrote:

...Britney has Pluto sextiling its natal position, passing over her Neptune, and squaring her 12th-house Mars. This represents a time of transformation during which she sees the truth about her illusions come to light, and makes profound changes in her sometimes self-destructive M.O. (Mars in the 12th house).... Jupiter ... will make its last conjunction to Kevin's Uranus in mid-September (which could well be around the baby's actual birth date, considering how celebs like to pad their due dates). It's quite possible he could hang on till then in his basement lair, lurking in the corners of Britney's life. But Pluto has a way of unearthing the truth, and it won't be long before our beloved Britney sees the light about her marriage. {Full story}

Now, as retrograde Uranus draws toward a station in square to Britney's Sun, she is itching to break free of the confines of her current identity, perhaps shocking the world with a whole new persona. To feel vital and true to herself now, Britney needs to change. It may be scary and unsettling to shake up the status quo and take a sharp left turn on her life path, but this might be just what Britney needs to clear away stale psychic energy and find her center again.

Kevin, meanwhile, is going through a hugely momentous life shift: his first Saturn return, a time of reckoning and new responsibilities, when a person transitions into adulthood and reaps the consequences—for better or worse—of his or her work toward achieving maturity thus far. See Kevin Federline's birth chart (Astrotheme, no birth time)

The Saturn return is kind of like a cosmic midterm exam. And I think we can all guess how well K-Fed does on standardized tests. The divorce as well as the dismal response to his fledgling "career" as a "musical" "artist" (which, one suspects, may well have been the last straw for Britney, as she was finally confronted with a realistic assessment of his nonexistent breadwinner potential) suggests that Kevin has spent less time learning lessons from the universe than he has partying in Vegas.

Along with signifying adult responsibilities, Saturn also represents the father principle, and Kevin is being called to account for his parenting skills as much as anything else. Britney is seeking sole custody in the divorce petition, and it's hard to imagine Kevin fighting for the right to be encumbered by his kids on weekends when he could be out partying. But for an overgrown child of a man like Kevin, Saturn can come down pretty hard with the old reality check. He may be stunned to find out how difficult life on his own is, without the safety net of Britney's fame and money.

With Mercury and Venus on his Uranus, news of the divorce may have already come as a shock to him. Now, as Saturn gets set to station and turn retrograde just minutes away from its position in Kevin's natal chart, he has a rough road ahead. He will have to go back and make up for lost time in learning the lessons of adulthood and parenthood he should have been working on all along.

So, it looks like K-Fed's long-awaited and richly deserved slide into obscurity has begun ... and with it Britney's imminent resurgence to fame and fabulosity. She'll be starting 2007 on a high note, receptive to receiving new blessings from the universe as Jupiter conjuncts her Sun. Our original-flava Britney is back and ready to reclaim her one true love, Justin Timberlake, from the clutches of old Frying-Pan-Face Diaz. Man, between this and the Democrats retaking the House, I might just start to regain faith that there is some sense to the universe.

Reese and Ryan: Separated by Uranus?

Reese and Ryan

It's official: There is no hope for the rest of us! It is with deep sadness and concern for the present and future state of human relationships that I inform you Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe are separating. {Source} As I previously reported, the dynamic between an Aries (Reese) and a Virgo (Ryan) does not traditionally make for a good romantic match. But with their natal Venuses opposite each other and a few other good aspects, Reese and Ryan were making a go of a balanced relationship. ~ See Reese Witherspoon's astrological chart (Astrotheme, no birth time) ~ See Ryan Philippe's astrological chart (Astrotheme, no birth time)

But pressures have been mounting for this couple for some time. Back in March, I wrote:

There have been some trouble spots for the marriage lately as Uranus in Pisces recently passed over Reese's Venus and is now headed toward Ryan's Jupiter. In both of them, this could bring urges to make a sudden break, disrupting existing relationships that suddenly feel stifling. {Full story}

At the time, I opined that Uranus would not be a dealbreaker and Reese and Ryan would stick it out at least until late next year. But news of the separation comes as retrograde Uranus is preparing to station and turn direct just over a degree away from Reese's Venus (three degrees from Ryan's Jupiter). In an interesting converse aspect, transiting Venus in Scorpio is also about to cross Reese's natal Uranus.

Meanwhile, Jupiter in Scorpio squares Reese's Saturn, generating further enthusiasm for breaking free of the confines of her life's current structure. Reese may have felt that in order to grow in the long term, she needed to jump ship now. With all that Venus-Uranus energy building in the run-up to the Uranus station, Reese was ready to cut loose. I definitely see her being the initiator of the breakup while Ryan, with Uranus on his Jupiter, just feels like his luck has turned in a way that's out of his control.

As much as I wanted these two to defy the odds for Aries-Virgo couples, ultimately they are operating on two totally different wavelengths... even if they did make beautiful babies together. Hopefully the transformational energy that attends the current pile-up of planets in Scorpio will be cathartic for Reese and Ryan as they prepare to shed their old lives and start over. Seriously, though, what hope is there for the rest of us?!?!

Are Lance and Matt a Couple?

The hottest new couple mono-moniker out there is Mance, coined by my gossip guru Ted Casablanca to describe the sudden BFFosity of party-hearty bachelors Matthew McConaughey and Lance Armstrong. And America's collective gaydar has been pinging up a storm over these two buff workout buddies, no matter how many babes they bag when blitzed. Could L&M really be more than friends, warranting their nomenclatural union as Mance?

Well, right off the bat, a Scorpio, such as Matt is, would frankly be a much better match for a Virgo like Lance than his last girlfriend, Aquarian Sheryl Crow. And there are some interesting connections between their birth charts that, I must say, don't rule out a romance.

With both their Mars in Aquarius, Lance and Matt obviously share a hey-bro M.O. that allows them to get along easily. See Lance Armstrong's birth chart (Astrotheme, no birth time) ~ See Matthew McConaughey's birth chart (Astrotheme) That Aquarian Mars connection certainly describes their common athleticism and friendship. But where Mars is involved, there's also a suggestion of sexual tension, and there are quite a few Martian contacts between these two macho dudes.

Lance's Mars in Aquarius exactly squares Matt's Sun in Scorpio. Also, Lance's Venus in Libra exactly trines Matt's Mars in Aquarius and loosely conjuncts his Uranus in Libra. Could this hint at a kinky masculine relationship? Aquarius and (ahem) Uranus are certainly associated with homosexuality and unconventional sexual experimentation. The Venus-Mars trine is the kind of aspect that brings romantic and sexual chemistry, while Lance's Mars' square to Matt's intensely sexual Scorpio Sun could certainly cause sparks.

Hey, maybe all the jogging is the only thing hot, sweaty and topless that's going on between these two ... or maybe, just maybe, these he-man hijinks are an outlet for the Mars-on-Mars energy that dare not speak its name? The jury's still out, but if I saw those aspects in a straight couple's chart I wouldn't hesitate to declare them compatible (if perhaps tempestuous, as all that Mars can be volatile). Much as it pains me to admit that I might not have a chance with Matthew other than in a bearding capacity, I'm not gonna lie—that is one sex tape I would pay to watch.

Did Owen Wilson Come Between Kate and Chris?

Gentle readers, I have been working on this post for days, but it has been slow going, because reporting on this is just very difficult for me. I mean, I gasped aloud when I heard the news that Kate Hudson and Chris Robinson were splitting. They seemed like such a happy little hippie family! I was so sure they would stick together forever like Goldie and Kurt and pop out more long-haired babies! ...And yet, I have to admit that the thought of Owen Wilson almost immediately flashed through my mind. Still, I was shocked—shocked!—when this hunch was immediately validated by an Us cover story alleging a Kate-Owen affair! {Source}

Whew. Okay. Deep breaths. You see how this is all very emotional, dear readers. And when I set out to unravel the astrological strands that form this tangled web, I felt even more heartbroken. You see, Kate and Chris really do have some amazing connections in their charts. But it might just be that what they have in common—a freewheeling, free-spirited fire-sign aversion to commitment—is what allowed them to drift apart. And with a sexy Sun-Neptune Scorpio like Owen waiting in the wings, Kate might just have drifted in his direction.

Kate's & Chris' Suns are in a close trine in fire signs Aries and Sagittarius, ensuring a harmonious vibe between them of the free-and-easy kind. Their Mars oppose each other in Aries/Libra, forging a strong sexual connection that is reinforced by Chris' Venus in Capricorn squaring both their Mars. Depending on his time of birth, Chris' Aries Moon could conjunct Kate's Mercury and/or Mars.

Their Jupiters are in an out-of-sign conjunction (hers in late Cancer, his in early Leo), suggesting that they can support and encourage each other's evolution process even though their individual styles of dealing with growth experiences may be very different. Chris' Saturn in Pisces on Kate's Venus describes the age difference in their relationship but also suggests him playing the role of spiritual teacher. And oh yeah, the Pisces influence adds to their freewheeling hippie-dippie energy.

These connections seem so positive, but with all that passionate, impulsive fire energy, the relationship is bound to be tempestuous as well. The Mars opposition makes for great sex, but can also cause them to butt heads in fierce arguments. (Bet the make-up sex was amazing, though.) Aries (where Kate has Mercury as well as the Sun and Mars) are known for starting things they don't finish while Sagittarius is the quintessential "babe, I've got to ramble on" rock star sign. While their connection may have been based in large part on them both being seekers, that very restlessness also looks to be the reason they ultimately went in different directions.

It's worth noting that there is a significant cosmic challenge posed in Kate's natal chart. Her T-square between the Sun, Moon and Jupiter at 29° of cardinal signs is very karmic and suggests a kind of urgency. As I have remarked before, the 29th and final degree of a sign contains an anxiety about bringing closure, completion or fulfillment to the affairs of that sign. To have both luminaries there (including the Moon, ruler of the Cancer Ascendant) in a challenging configuration with Jupiter on the Ascendant is an interesting clue to Kate's purpose in life. She really has to struggle to define her identity (perhaps, given the Moon emphasis, to differentiate herself from her mother) and feels an almost desperate yearning toward personal growth and new horizons. It's no wonder that someone with this formation in her horoscope would feel constantly compelled to strike out in new directions.

Interestingly, Owen Wilson also has his Mars in Libra, opposite Kate's Mars and squaring her Venus, creating a great possibility of sexual chemistry between them as well. See Owen Wilson's birth chart (Astrotheme, no birth time) Owen also has an expansive, explosive conjunction of Mars, Jupiter and Uranus opposing Kate's Mercury-Mars, undoubtedly bringing a huge sense of excitement and mental stimulation into her life. All the wild, unpredictable energy of these three planets meeting in romantic Libra might just sweep Kate off her feet.

Owen's birth time is unknown, but if I had to guess, I would peg it around 9:00 AM CST. This would give Owen a Sagittarius Ascendant, describing his long, lanky physique and equine face as well as the laid-back-dude persona he puts out. (A second possibility would be an Aries Ascendant, describing his famously prominent nose, but to my mind that doesn't illustrate his ambling style.) This Ascendant would put Owen's Sun in the 11th house, fitting the wackily Aquarian cast to his personality; he always seems to choose characters who flout convention. His Libra stellium would end up in the 9th house, with Mars conjunct the Midheaven, reinforcing that Sagittarius vibe... and, perhaps tellingly, his Moon in early Scorpio would form an out-of-sign grand cross with Kate's cardinal T-square. Alternatively, if Owen were born a few minutes before 5:00 AM CST, the Moon would conjunct the Ascendant at 29° Libra and form an exact grand cross with Kate's T-square. I still lean toward a Sagittarius Ascendant for Owen, but I'm open. (Thoughts, readers?)

Regardless of his exact time of birth, it doesn't get much dreamier than a man with a Sun-Neptune conjunction in Scorpio (which certainly explains Owen's odd charm and sex-symbol status in spite of the fact that he's hardly a conventional specimen of studhood). His Mars in Libra is clearly Kate's "type," and Jupiter and Uranus just add to the excitement. But as to whether they have any long-term potential, I'd say it hinges largely on Owen's Moon sign. If he was born after 5:00 AM as a double Scorpio, especially later in the day with the Moon out of aspect to Kate's Sun, they are most likely too fundamentally different to make it work, and this could just be a rebound fling. But if indeed Owen does have his Moon in late Libra, Kate could be just the woman to overcome his commitment anxiety. Her Cancer Ascendant trines his Sun-Neptune, and her Capricorn Moon sextiles them, so the reports that he is smitten could very well be true. Stay tuned....

Meanwhile, I would like to point out to Chris Robinson, should he, in turn, be in pursuit of a rebound fling, that I too have Venus in Pisces and go for the scrungey-undernourished-rock-star look, and also that "Kate" sounds a lot like "Kitty" and if he were to accidentally mix up the two names, no one would be the wiser. Just throwing that out there. Ahem.... Well, dear readers, it looks like I have turned a corner in the mourning process—thanks so much for letting me work through all this!

Paul McCartney and Olivia Newton-John Belong Together!

Forgive me if I sound a bit loony on this one, gentle readers, but Uranus has been retrograding over my Venus/Jupiter in Pisces and I am experiencing a strange sense of universal love and oneness emanating from the Internet. In that spirit, I got to thinking: If the blogosphere could bring down Trent Lott and prompt an overhaul of the script of Snakes on a Plane, maybe—just maybe—it could use its zeitgeistastic postmodern power to manifest my second dearest celebrity coupling wish (after my own marriage to Matt Dillon): the blessed union of Sir Paul McCartney and Miss Olivia Newton-John.

Now, I touched on this genius plan once before, in my discussion of Paul sadly and ironically turning 64 as a single man. But since then, as his divorce proceedings from Heather Mills get uglier and the press reveals her to be progressively skankier, while meanwhile Olivia continues to pine for a two-bit tool who faked his own death to escape alimony payments (perhaps he and Heather should hook up, while we're at it?), I have become more fervently certain that these two rosy-cheeked pop icons profoundly deserve to find happiness in each other's arms.

In my last reading, I said that Olivia (whose birthday is two days after the late Linda McCartney's, though they were born in different years) had her Sun in Paul's 7th house of partnership, but I have since discovered that (grrr) the birth time I was working with for Paul was incorrect. In fact, Paul is Virgo rising with Neptune in the 1st house, describing his dreamy appeal. This places Olivia's Libra Sun in his 1st house in an out-of-sign conjunction with his Neptune, as was Linda's Sun. See Paul McCartney's birth chart (Astrotheme) ~ See Olivia Newton-John's birth chart (Astrotheme) ~ See Linda McCartney's birth chart (Astrotheme) This definitely suggests right off the bat that they might have an attraction.

But that's not all. Look at these romantic connections, people: his Moon on her Venus; their Venuses squaring each other; her sexy Mars in Scorpio opposing his sensual Venus in Taurus and squaring their Moon-Venus conjunction. Let's just say I don't see Paul needing any Viagra in this relationship. Plus, they can totally open up to each other emotionally and encourage each other to grow with her Moon on his Jupiter and his Sun opposite her Jupiter. An out-of-sign square between her Mercury and his Mars sparks lively conversation and healthy debate. Okay, her Uranus on his Sun might shake things up a little, but maybe that's not such a bad thing, as long as all those fixed-sign Venus connections are establishing a firm bond between them.

These two are so clearly perfect for each other. At first I was wondering where they would live, but then I saw that Olivia was even born in the UK, just like Paul. (BTW, has anyone noticed that no "Australian" celebrities were actually born in Australia? Nicole Kidman, Mel Gibson... I'm beginning to think this whole "Australia" place was just concocted by some agent as an excuse for a lovable-accent gimmick. But I digress....) And I'm sure that Stella, having come of age in the era of Xanadu and all its magical-legwarmer glory, would take far more kindly to this new stepmother. See, it all falls into place!

So this is what I'm proposing, people. We need to gather the collective psychic energy of the Interwebs—yes, all of them—to get this couple together. If you are in the music industry and can set up a meeting, make it happen! If you are in one (or both) of their fan clubs, start a letter-writing movement! Surely through the cosmic vibrations of the blogosphere, we can manifest this intention. Start chanting this mantra now: Paul + Olivia 4-EVA!!!!!!!

P.S. If anyone would also like to help manifest my marriage to Matt Dillon, I will be happy to invite you to the wedding. Thanks in advance!
